Bermejo River border
The river forms the international boundary with Argentina, a broad, wandering line that divides the poster and gives the whole composition its sense of place.

Bermejo Map Poster & Print
Bermejo lies at the far southern tip of Bolivia, in the Tarija Department, on the bank of the river that gives it its name. The Bermejo River marks the border with Argentina here, and the Argentine town of Aguas Blancas sits directly opposite, so the map of Bermejo is really a map of two countries divided by a single stretch of water.
At a much lower altitude than most of Bolivia, the area is warm and subtropical, and sugar cane is its defining crop. The town is closely associated with its sugar mill, and cane fields spread across the flat land around it. Cross-border trade is the other constant of daily life in this frontier town.
A Bermejo map poster sets a regular street grid against the loose, braided course of the river and the plain beyond. It is a precise, graphic image of a frontier town, meaningful to people from southern Tarija and to anyone who has crossed between Bolivia and Argentina at this point.

Regular town grid
Bermejo's centre is laid out in orderly rectangular blocks, a clean pattern that stands out against the natural curves of the river beside it.
Cane-field plain
Around the town the land opens into flat fields associated with the local sugar industry, leaving generous empty space around the streets on the map.

Neden Bermejo
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Bermejo is a home, a crossing point and a working town tied to sugar and trade. A poster of its grid and river holds that story in a single frame, and suits both a Bolivian home and a family living abroad.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates line to anything you like, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper with an optional wooden frame.
