Birine Map Poster & Print
Birine lies in the Djelfa province of northern Algeria, on the high plateaus between the Tell Atlas and the Saharan Atlas. This is steppe country: broad, dry and open. On a map, the town is a compact concentration of streets and blocks, with the surrounding land left largely empty apart from roads and scattered tracks.
The settlement's layout is simple and practical, with main streets crossing the centre and residential blocks arranged around them. Roads link Birine with neighbouring towns across the plateau, and their long straight lines emphasise the scale of the landscape. The surrounding ground is mostly pasture and cultivated plots, typical of the region's farming and herding.
A Birine map poster turns this contrast into a strong composition: a dense centre in the middle of the sheet, with open space all around it. The minimal style suits the plateau well, because the emptiness of the steppe becomes an essential part of the image.

Plateau roads
Long, straight roads cross the open steppe toward neighbouring towns. They divide the frame into broad, calm sections.
Open steppe
Most of the landscape around the town is open land with few lines. It gives the poster a spacious, minimal feel.
