Chelsea Map Poster & Print
Chelsea is one of the smallest cities in Massachusetts by area, covering less than three square miles just north of Boston. It is surrounded on three sides by water. The Mystic River runs along one side, Chelsea Creek along another, and the Island End River along a third. From above, the city is a tightly packed wedge of streets between these shorelines.
The Tobin Bridge carries Route 1 over the Mystic, landing in Chelsea and cutting across the city on an elevated line. Along the creek, fuel terminals and industrial sites supply much of the region. Chelsea has long been a city of immigrants, and its dense housing and busy squares reflect that history.
The Chelsea map poster packs a lot into a small frame. The street grid is dense and slightly irregular, the waterfronts give it clear edges, and the highway and bridge cut through on a strong diagonal. Across the water, the edges of Charlestown and East Boston hint at the larger city around it.

Chelsea Creek
The creek separates Chelsea from East Boston. Its industrial waterfront, lined with docks and terminals, gives the city a sharp, working edge.
Dense street grid
Within its small area, Chelsea packs in a tight network of residential streets. It reads as one of the densest patterns in the Boston area.

Neden Chelsea
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Chelsea is a first American home for many families and a close-knit city for those who grew up there. A map poster captures its small, water-bound shape, a clear picture of a place defined by its edges.
Add a title and subtitle, rewrite the coordinates line, or include the year you arrived. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Noir makes the dense grid and water edges especially striking.
