Continuous city grid
Chimbas shares its street pattern with central San Juan, so the orthogonal blocks run straight across the municipal boundary and give the poster a calm, even texture.

Chimbas Map Poster & Print
Chimbas lies directly north of the city of San Juan and forms part of the same urban area, so on a map its streets continue the regular grid of the provincial capital with barely a visible seam. Blocks are laid out in straight rows, interrupted only by wider avenues that carry traffic in and out of the centre and by the occasional open square.
Further out, the pattern loosens. Houses give way to rectangular fields and vineyards, their edges set by the irrigation channels that make farming possible in a valley where almost every green surface depends on water brought in from elsewhere. The San Juan River runs along the northern side of the department, and past the cultivated land the terrain turns bare and open.
A Chimbas map poster shows that transition clearly: a close residential grid near the capital, looser farm parcels toward the river, and long straight roads tying both together. It is an honest portrait of a working suburb in Argentina's Cuyo region, drawn without decoration, where the geometry of irrigation matters as much as the geometry of streets.

Irrigated farmland
Toward the edges, fields and vineyards form long rectangles bounded by irrigation channels, the lines that keep this arid valley cultivated and give the outer map its structure.
Toward the river
On the northern side the built blocks thin out as the land approaches the San Juan River, and the map opens into agricultural parcels and wide, quiet spaces.

Anlam taşıyan bir harita
This is a map for people whose lives are tied to San Juan province: families who have lived in Chimbas for generations, those who moved away to Buenos Aires or abroad, or anyone who remembers the grid of streets running out toward the vineyards.
A family surname, a street, or the year a house was built can go in the title and subtitle, with the coordinates line kept or edited. Five styles are available, and Sand in particular suits a place defined by dry ground and careful irrigation.
