Sierra de Guadalupe
The mountain range along the southern edge of the municipality shows as a broad open area on the map, sharply bounding the dense streets below it.

Coacalco Map Poster & Print
Coacalco de Berriozábal lies in the State of Mexico, just north of the capital and inside its large metropolitan area. From above, it is a dense quilt of housing developments, each with its own loop of internal streets. These fit together between the arterial roads that carry traffic toward Mexico City and the neighbouring municipalities of Tultitlán and Ecatepec.
To the south, the green mass of the Sierra de Guadalupe rises above the valley floor, and the streets stop abruptly where the slopes become protected land. The contrast between the fine-grained housing and the open hillside is the most striking feature of the map. It also gives the composition a natural anchor.
A Coacalco map poster shows how a modern suburb is actually put together: cul-de-sacs, gated estates, straight commuter roads and a few older lanes around the historic centre. In monochrome, the density turns into pattern, almost like a textile, and the mountains bring a calm empty space into the frame.

Estate patterns
Each of Coacalco's many housing developments has its own layout of loops and short streets. Together they form a mosaic of small, self-contained shapes across the poster.
Commuter arteries
Long, straight avenues cut through the housing, linking the municipality with the rest of the Valley of Mexico and giving the map its main directional lines.
