Coromandel Map Poster & Print
Coromandel lies in the Alto Paranaíba region of western Minas Gerais, a landscape of high rolling plateaus, cerrado and farmland cut by small river valleys. The town itself is compact, with a central grid of streets around its older core, and a map shows how neatly the built area sits within the open countryside that surrounds it on every side.
The region is known in Brazilian history for diamonds. Its rivers and streams were long worked by garimpeiros, independent prospectors, and some of the country's most famous stones were found in the area during the twentieth century. That heritage gives the town a reputation well beyond its size, even though agriculture now shapes most of the land around it.
A Coromandel map poster shows a clear, readable plan: straight streets, a few main roads leading out toward neighbouring towns, and the looser pattern of rural tracks beyond. It suits a minimalist style, because the town's outline is distinct and the lines of the streets are strong against the empty space around them.

Diamond country
The rivers and streams around Coromandel were historically worked by prospectors, and the area is remembered in Brazil for notable diamond discoveries.
Roads to the plateau
A few main roads leave the town in different directions across the Alto Paranaíba, giving the poster clear lines radiating into the countryside.
