River-shaped plan
The Cugir river sets the direction of the whole town. The main streets run alongside it, so the settlement stretches north to south rather than forming a round centre.

Cugir Map Poster & Print
Cugir lies in the south of Alba County, where the Cugir river leaves the Șureanu Mountains and heads toward the Mureș valley. Seen from above, the town is long and narrow. Its streets run with the valley floor, and the hillsides on both sides keep the built area from spreading out, so the outline of the town follows the shape of the land very closely.
For generations the town has been known for its mechanical works and arms factory, one of the oldest industrial sites in Transylvania. Large industrial footprints sit next to blocks of flats and houses with gardens. On a map, those big rectangular plots stand apart clearly from the finer residential grain around them.
A Cugir map poster traces the river, the roads alongside it and the point where the town gives way to forest on the way south into the mountains. In monochrome the contrast is sharp: dense streets in the valley, then nothing but the quiet texture of slopes. The heights above the town are also associated with Dacian-era remains, which gives the landscape around it a much older layer.

Industrial footprint
The long-established engineering and arms works occupy large regular plots. They print as broad, clean shapes among the smaller residential streets.
Mountain edge
To the south, streets thin out quickly into the forested slopes of the Șureanu range, which gives the poster a clear natural boundary.

Neden Cugir
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
A map of Cugir suits people who have worked at the factory, grew up in the valley, or left for somewhere else and still think of the mountains as home. The narrow shape of the town is easy to recognise, even on a small print.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a year that matters to you. Noir handles the dark mountain edge well, and Blueprint brings out the industrial side of the town.
