Former steelworks site
A large block of former industrial land sits close to the centre. It appears as a broad, calmer area among the surrounding streets and recalls the town's steelmaking past.

Dudelange Map Poster & Print
Dudelange lies in the south of Luxembourg, right on the French border, in the old iron-ore and steel district known as the Minett. From above, it is one of the larger towns in the country, with a dense centre, residential quarters climbing the surrounding slopes, and woodland closing in on several sides.
Industry shaped much of the map. A large steelworks once stood in the valley, and the land it occupied still forms a big open area near the centre as it is redeveloped. To the west rises Mont Saint-Jean, a wooded hill topped by the remains of a medieval castle. Dudelange is also home to the Centre national de l'audiovisuel, Luxembourg's national audiovisual archive.
A Dudelange map poster shows a town in transition. Tight nineteenth- and twentieth-century streets sit beside wide former industrial land, and green hills separate it from its neighbours. The French border cuts across nearby, giving the frame a sense of place at the very edge of the Grand Duchy.

Mont Saint-Jean
West of town, a wooded hill with the ruins of a medieval castle rises above the streets, one of Dudelange's best-known landmarks and a green mass on the map.
Border woodland
Forests and open land wrap around the southern edge of the town, where the national border with France runs close by.

Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Dudelange draws strong loyalty from families whose parents and grandparents worked in the mills, many of them from Italy and Portugal. A map of its streets honours that working history quietly.
