East Cleveland Map Poster & Print
East Cleveland sits just east of Cleveland's University Circle, on the slope that rises from the Lake Erie plain toward the Heights. It was one of the region's earliest streetcar suburbs, and its streets reflect that era: dense blocks of houses and apartments around Euclid Avenue, with side streets packed tightly between the main roads.
Large green areas break up the map. Forest Hill Park, once part of John D. Rockefeller's estate, covers a wide stretch of land, and part of Lake View Cemetery lies inside the city limits. In the northeast, Nela Park, the landscaped campus General Electric built for its lighting business, stands out as a distinct pattern of curving drives.
Nela Park is known for its elaborate holiday light displays, a tradition that goes back decades. An East Cleveland map poster shows how these open spaces sit against a fine grid of residential streets, giving the city a layered look, edged by parkland, that is easy to read from above and satisfying to frame.
