Entre Rios Map Poster & Print
Entre Rios lies in the state of Bahia, in northeastern Brazil, inland from the Atlantic coast north of Salvador. Its name means between rivers, and it describes the setting well: the town sits in country cut by watercourses, and on a map the drainage lines and low valleys shape where streets could spread and where they had to stop.
The centre has the familiar layout of a small Brazilian town: a main square, a church and streets branching off in a loosely regular pattern. Outward, the grid bends with the terrain and turns into longer roads toward farms and neighbouring towns. Green gaps along the streams separate the neighbourhoods and give the map its rhythm.
An Entre Rios map poster suits people who grew up in the Bahian interior and carry its streets with them. The print keeps things simple: the central blocks, the roads leading away and the gentle interruptions of the valleys. It is a quiet, affectionate portrait of a town defined by the water around it.
