Fulwood Map Poster & Print
Fulwood is a residential district on the western side of Sheffield, where the city runs up against open country. From above, it is a web of curving avenues, crescents and quiet closes laid over rising ground, with large gardens and mature trees filling the spaces between houses. Few straight lines survive the hills here, and the street pattern follows the contours rather than a grid.
To the south, the Porter Brook runs through a wooded valley with a string of old mill dams, including Forge Dam, and a footpath that follows the water down toward the city. To the west the houses stop and fields and moorland take over, leading toward the Peak District. The map shows a clear edge where suburb meets countryside.
A Fulwood map poster is a good fit for anyone who lives in this corner of Sheffield, walks the Porter valley regularly, or has moved away and misses the hills. The flowing street pattern and the green valley make for an unusually graceful composition, and a title with a family name or a house date completes it neatly.

Contour-led streets
Roads bend and loop across the slopes, forming crescents and closes that trace the hillside and give the whole map a soft, organic rhythm.
Edge of the moors
On the western side the built area ends abruptly, giving way to fields and open land that lead toward the Peak District National Park.

Neden Fulwood
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Fulwood is the kind of place people settle in for decades, so its map often marks a family home, a first house or a childhood spent near the valley. It also suits walkers who know every path between the city and the moors.
Add your own title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps a street name and the year you moved in, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Printed posters come on matte paper, with an optional wooden frame.
