Lakeside road
A long road follows the curve of the lake past beaches and gardens, a graceful line along the water that gives the poster its most recognisable feature.

Gisenyi Map Poster & Print
Gisenyi, officially part of Rubavu District, sits on the northern shore of Lake Kivu in western Rwanda. The shoreline curves gently along the edge of town, lined with a long lakeside road, beaches and gardens, while the commercial centre climbs the slope behind it. To the west the town meets the border with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where it runs directly into the city of Goma.
Lake Kivu is one of the African Great Lakes, deep and calm, with steep green shores and many small islands further south. On clear days the volcanoes of the Virunga range, including Nyiragongo, are visible to the north. The lakeside road in Gisenyi, lined with tall trees and older villas, has long made the town a place for rest and weekend escapes.
A Gisenyi map poster combines the smooth line of the shore with the grid of the town centre and the roads climbing the surrounding hills. The lake occupies a large part of the frame, giving the composition calm and space. It is a fine keepsake for travellers to Rwanda and for people who know the town through family or work.

Border crossing
On the western edge, the town runs directly into Goma across the national border, the street pattern continuing almost seamlessly from one country to the other.
Hillside centre
The commercial heart of Gisenyi sits on higher ground above the lake, with markets and streets arranged along the slope and roads leading inland toward the hills.

Neden Gisenyi
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Gisenyi is a place of lake views, sunsets and quiet mornings on the water. A map of its shoreline and streets keeps those memories close, whether from a holiday, a period of work in the region or a family home.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, adding a date or a dedication, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint emphasises the lake and its shoreline.
