Village cores
Paina, Birone and Robbiano appear as separate clusters within the wider town. Each is a small, dense centre linked to the others by older roads.

Giussano Map Poster & Print
Giussano lies in Brianza, the gently rolling, densely settled country between Milan and Lake Como. Like many towns here, it is less a single centre than a group of historic villages that grew together. Alongside the main town, the frazioni of Paina, Birone and Robbiano each keep a small core of their own, visible on the map as tighter knots in the street network.
Between those cores, roads run in every direction, lined with houses, small factories and furniture workshops, the trade that made Brianza famous. Few streets stay straight for long. They follow old field boundaries and the links between villages, and the result is a fine, tangled network broken by patches of green where fields and parks survive.
The town's name is tied to Alberto da Giussano, the legendary warrior linked to the Lombard League's victory at Legnano in 1176, whose figure still appears in Lombard symbolism. A Giussano map poster shows the everyday side of that famous name: a working town whose shape is written in lanes, crossroads and village centres.

Brianza street web
A fine, irregular mesh of streets fills the map. It is the result of centuries of villages, farms and workshops growing toward each other.
Green gaps
The remaining fields and parks open up white space between the built-up areas. They give the composition room to breathe and show where the old villages once ended.
