Gorontalo Map Poster & Print
Gorontalo lies on the northern arm of Sulawesi, at the head of a small bay opening onto the Gulf of Tomini. The Bone and Bolango rivers run down to the sea through the city, and the map shows them as two converging threads that divide the street pattern into distinct sections before reaching the harbour. Green hills rise around the basin on several sides.
Inland, the ground flattens into a wide plain where Lake Limboto spreads out to the west of the city, its shoreline softened by wetland and rice fields. The streets between the lake and the coast form a fairly regular pattern, built along roads that lead out toward neighbouring towns. Gorontalo became the capital of its own province in 2000, when the region separated from North Sulawesi.
A Gorontalo map poster brings the bay, the rivers and the lake into one frame, so the city reads as a meeting point of water from several directions. On a white sheet the shapes stay quiet and legible, which suits a place where the surrounding landscape matters as much as the streets themselves.

Lake Limboto
West of the city, Lake Limboto fills a shallow basin, its irregular shoreline edged by wetland and fields, adding a large, soft shape to any wider view of Gorontalo.
Two rivers
The Bone and Bolango rivers wind through the urban area before joining near the coast, cutting the street grid into separate neighbourhoods linked by bridges.
