Gossas Village Map Poster & Print
Gossas lies in Senegal's Fatick region, in the heart of the groundnut basin, the broad, flat agricultural zone of west-central Senegal. The map is spare. A modest grid of streets sits in open, sandy country, a few main roads lead out toward neighbouring towns, and the surrounding land is divided into fields and scattered villages.
Without hills or major rivers, the town's shape comes almost entirely from its roads. Streets are laid out in fairly regular blocks near the centre and loosen into irregular compounds and tracks at the edges. The roads out act as the main axes of the composition. In black and white, the simplicity of the layout becomes a strength.
A Gossas Village map poster shows a town set in the Sahelian farmland of the groundnut basin. Here, peanut and millet cultivation has long defined local economic life. It is a quiet, understated map that suits anyone with roots in the Fatick region or a connection to this part of Senegal.

Radiating roads
Main roads lead outward toward neighbouring settlements. They give the flat composition its structure and connect the town to the wider groundnut basin.
Open farmland
Fields and scattered compounds surround the town on sandy, level ground. The wide empty space around the streets gives the print a calm, balanced feel.
