Valley setting
The town lies on a broad valley floor between parallel ridges, so its built-up area stretches along the valley and the surrounding roads follow the same northeast-southwest line.

Guixi Map Poster & Print
Guixi is the seat of Dianjiang County in the northeast of Chongqing Municipality. The land here is folded into long, parallel ridges with broad valleys between them, and the town occupies one of those valleys. From above, the map has a strong sense of direction: streets, roads and farmland all tend to line up with the grain of the hills around them.
Like many county towns in the Chongqing region, Guixi has grown considerably in recent decades. A compact older centre sits among newer districts of wider roads and larger blocks, and development has pushed out across the valley floor. Small rivers and reservoirs appear among the fields, and expressways and rail lines thread through the gaps in the ridges.
A Guixi map poster shows the town as a patch of dense streets set inside a much larger landscape of terraces, streams and slopes. The ridgelines themselves stay pale on a minimalist print, but their effect is visible everywhere in how the roads bend and run. It is a quieter subject than the central city of Chongqing, and a more personal one.

Old and new
A tighter older centre sits beside newer districts of wide avenues and large blocks, giving the map two clearly different textures of street.
Water and fields
Small rivers, ponds and reservoirs scatter across the farmland around the town, adding fine curved lines and shapes to the space between neighbourhoods.

Neden Guixi
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Guixi is a hometown for many people who now live in Chongqing's central city or much further away. A map of it on the wall is a simple way to keep that place in view, with its valley and ridges instantly recognisable to anyone from there.
Personalise the title and subtitle, set the coordinates line to a family home or a date, and choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as HD files or a printed poster.
