Ilobu Map Poster & Print
Ilobu lies in Osun State in southwestern Nigeria, a short distance from the state capital, Osogbo. From above, the town forms a network of streets and compounds spread over gently rolling terrain, with roads leading out toward neighbouring towns. Farmland and patches of woodland surround the settlement, and small streams cross the landscape between the hills.
Ilobu is a traditional Yoruba town with its own ruler and long-standing customs, closely tied to the nearby towns of the Osun region. Farming remains an important part of life here, and the town's layout reflects its growth over generations, with older central areas and newer neighbourhoods spreading along the main roads.
An Ilobu map poster shows a town shaped by its terrain and history rather than by formal planning. The irregular streets of the centre, the roads to neighbouring towns and the open land beyond create a quiet, balanced composition. In black and white, the gentle rise and fall of the landscape is suggested through the pattern of roads and settlement.
