Compact town centre
The urban core forms a tight cluster of short blocks and intersecting streets. Drawn in black and white, it gives the poster a clear focal point against the open land around it.

Itaiópolis Map Poster & Print
Itaiópolis sits on the high plateau of northern Santa Catarina, where the land rolls in long ridges and shallow valleys instead of dropping to the coast. From above, the town is a small, dense cluster of streets. Around it, a much wider web of rural roads runs out to farms, forest patches and scattered communities across the uplands.
The area was settled largely by European immigrants, and Polish and Ukrainian families in particular left a lasting mark on local culture and church life. On a map, that farming history shows in how the settlement spreads out. Roads follow ridgelines and property lines, linking outlying rural districts back to the urban core rather than forming one continuous grid.
An Itaiópolis map poster turns this balance between town and countryside into a quiet composition. The centre reads as a knot of fine black lines. Beyond it, the lines thin out into winding roads and streams that trace the shape of the plateau. The result is sparse but full of movement, a portrait of a place defined as much by its surroundings as by its streets.

Plateau road network
Rural roads leave town in several directions and bend with the terrain, following ridges and valleys across the upland. On paper they read like loose threads pulled from the centre.
Streams and valleys
Small waterways cut through the surrounding farmland and woods. They add soft, irregular curves that contrast with the straighter lines of the streets.
