Railway spine
The line toward Tatanagar cuts through the town, and the station area forms the densest knot of streets on the map.

Jhārgrām Map Poster & Print
Jhārgrām is the headquarters of the district of the same name in West Bengal, which was created in 2017 in the forested country known as Jangal Mahal. The ground here rises gently from the delta toward the Chota Nagpur plateau. The soil is red laterite, and sal forest remains close to town, so the streets on a map meet green space quickly on most sides.
The railway line toward Tatanagar runs through the town and acts as its spine. Main roads cross it and spread out into a loose, low-density pattern of neighbourhoods, markets and government offices. The Jhargram Raj Palace, the former seat of the local rulers, sits within its own grounds and forms one of the town's best-known landmarks.
A Jhārgrām map poster captures a town that has not been entirely absorbed by concrete. The railway, the roads and the palace grounds stand out against the open land around them, and the looser street pattern gives the composition plenty of air.

Raj Palace grounds
The former royal palace sits within its own grounds, a distinct open area among the surrounding streets and one of the town's familiar landmarks.
Forest edges
Sal forest and farmland come right up to the town, so the outer streets thin out into tracks and open space toward every edge of the poster.
