Dense town core
The centre of town is a tight knot of short streets and small blocks. On the poster it forms the darkest area, the part your eye goes to first.

Laâttaouia Map Poster & Print
Laâttaouia is a town in the Marrakesh-Safi region, in the farming plain northeast of Marrakesh. The country around it is flat and open, and seen from above it is divided into fields, tracks and irrigation lines. The town stands out as a dense cluster in the middle of that agricultural pattern, with its main roads leading out in several directions.
Towns like this one serve as trading centres for the villages around them. On a map that shows up as roads meeting at the centre and a street network that gets looser toward the edges, where houses give way to cultivated land. There is no coastline or large river to frame it, so the roads do that work.
A Laâttaouia map poster is a study in how a plains town is built: compact near the middle, spreading out along the routes that connect it to its region. Printed in black and white, the lines are clear and even, suited to anyone who knows the place from the ground and wants to see it from above.

Roads to the region
Main routes leave the centre in different directions toward neighbouring towns. They give the map a loose star shape against the open plain.
Agricultural edge
At the edges, the dense urban pattern thins into long field tracks and farm roads, which shows plainly where the town stops and the countryside begins.
