Longjumeau Map Poster & Print
Longjumeau lies in Essonne, south of Paris, where the small Yvette river runs through a shallow valley. On the map, the river's green corridor crosses the town, and the old main road toward Orléans cuts across it. Around that intersection sits the older centre, a compact knot of streets. Beyond it, suburban housing, schools and sports grounds spread up the slopes.
The town has two well-known associations. The Peace of Longjumeau, signed here in 1568, briefly paused the French Wars of Religion. The town's name also appears in the title of Adolphe Adam's comic opera Le Postillon de Lonjumeau, a reminder of its role as a stop on the post road where coaches changed horses.
A Longjumeau map poster captures that layered suburban geography. The historic road forms the spine, the Yvette adds a soft curve, and the dense Île-de-France street fabric fills the rest of the frame. It is a detailed map without the monumental axes of central Paris, and it has a more intimate character.

Neden Longjumeau
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Longjumeau is the kind of place people call home for decades while commuting into Paris. A map of it is a personal marker rather than a tourist souvenir, fitting for a first flat, a family house or a childhood address.
Set your own title and subtitle, perhaps a street or a year, and keep or edit the coordinates line. Five styles are available: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Classic black & white gives the dense street pattern the clearest definition.
