Open street grid
The town's main blocks form a loose, largely regular grid. It is easy to read on the map and gives the design a steady rhythm.

Luputa Map Poster & Print
Luputa is a town in Lomami province in the south-central Democratic Republic of the Congo, on the high plateau between the Kasai and Katanga regions. The surrounding landscape is a mix of savanna, farmland and wooded valleys. From above, the town forms a broad, fairly regular pattern of streets and blocks, with roads leading out into the surrounding country.
Settlements on this plateau often grow along trading roads, and Luputa's layout reflects that practical growth. Homes and plots spread widely rather than stacking up, so the map shows generous blocks, open spaces and the gradual thinning of the built area toward the town's edges, where fields and paths take over.
A Luputa map poster turns this open pattern into a clean, calm design. The street grid gives the page its structure, the approach roads reach toward the margins, and the spaces between blocks stay light. It offers a rare printed image of a Congolese town that seldom appears on maps sold anywhere, drawn with care and without embellishment.

Outward roads
Roads leave the town toward neighbouring settlements and the wider province. They stretch across the plateau as long, simple lines.
Thinning edges
At the edges, the built area gives way gradually to fields and paths. The poster shows a clear shift from town to countryside.
