Maynooth Map Poster & Print
Maynooth is a university town in County Kildare, west of Dublin. Its layout is unusually clear from above. Main Street runs in a straight line, with the gates of the college and the ruins of Maynooth Castle at its western end, and to the east the axis continues as the long tree-lined avenue toward Carton House. The Royal Canal passes along the southern side of the town.
The town was shaped in the eighteenth century by the FitzGerald family, Earls of Kildare and later Dukes of Leinster, whose estate at Carton adjoins it. St Patrick's College, founded in 1795 as a seminary, grew into what is now Maynooth University alongside it. On a map, the college's quadrangles and grounds take up a large, orderly block of the town.
A Maynooth map poster shows how planning, education and waterways meet in one compact place. Main Street and Carton Avenue form a strong spine, the campus adds a formal geometry, and the canal draws a gentle curve across the south. It makes a fitting print for graduates, staff and anyone who spent formative years here.

University campus
The quadrangles of St Patrick's College and the newer university buildings form a broad, ordered block, the largest single feature on the town map.
Royal Canal
The canal runs along the southern edge of Maynooth, a smooth line with its towpath and harbour set against the more angular pattern of the streets.
