Mercedes Map Poster & Print
Mercedes is a coastal municipality in Camarines Norte, in the Bicol Region of Luzon, just east of the provincial capital, Daet. It looks out over the sea, and fishing has long been central to the local economy. Its port is one of the busiest fish landing places in the province.
On a map, the town centre is a small, fairly regular grid close to the water, with roads following the coast and heading inland to farms and coconut groves. Offshore, a group of small islands belongs to the municipality. Their scattered shapes give this stretch of coast its character.
A Mercedes map poster pairs the neat blocks of the poblacion with the irregular line of the shore and the islands beyond. Much of the frame is water, which gives the composition space and calm. It is a simple, honest portrait of a seaside town where daily life faces the sea.

Offshore islands
Small islands lie off the coast, their outlines dotted across the sea and giving the poster an unusual, scattered texture.

The poblacion forms a compact grid near the water, where the church, market and municipal buildings are close together.
