Moloto South Map Poster & Print
Moloto South is a settlement in Mpumalanga, South Africa, northeast of Pretoria, on the open grassland of the highveld. From above, it is a broad area of residential plots arranged along a regular pattern of streets, with houses set on individual stands. The settlement spreads widely rather than densely, with open ground between sections.
The area is closely associated with the Moloto Road, the long route that carries many residents to work in Pretoria each day. On a Moloto South map poster, that road forms the main axis, with the residential streets laid out on either side and extending into the surrounding veld.
The land around is flat to gently undulating grassland, crossed by streams and scattered with small farms and settlements. Main roads are fairly straight, while smaller streets form a grid of blocks. In black and white, the map shows a wide, even pattern of plots and streets resting on open land.
