Lake Norman coves
The lake's shoreline breaks into dozens of narrow coves and peninsulas. On a monochrome print the water becomes one large pale shape with a very intricate edge.

Mooresville Map Poster & Print
From above, Mooresville reads as two landscapes meeting. The older town is a compact grid set along the rail line, with short blocks and a clear main street. West and south of it, the drawing changes completely as roads bend around the drowned creek valleys of Lake Norman, and cul-de-sacs spread out like branches toward the water.
Lake Norman is the largest man-made lake in North Carolina, and its shoreline gives the map most of its character. Coves cut deep into the land, peninsulas run out between them, and bridges carry roads across the narrow arms. Interstate 77 runs north to south along the western side, a firm straight line against all of those curves.
Mooresville calls itself Race City USA because a large number of NASCAR teams and shops are based here, and the home-improvement chain Lowe's has its headquarters in town. A Mooresville map poster keeps none of that noise. What remains is the pattern itself: a railroad grid at the centre, a lake edge that seems to go on for ever, and the suburban growth drawn between the two.

Rail-line downtown
The historic centre grew along the railway in a tight rectangular grid. It is the densest and most regular part of the map, a small block of order in the middle of a looser pattern.
Interstate 77 corridor
The interstate cuts a long, clean line down the west side of town, with its interchanges showing as loops. It gives the composition a strong vertical axis.

Neden Mooresville
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
People hang Mooresville for the lake: a house on a particular cove, summers on the water, or a move south that turned into a permanent home. The shoreline is detailed enough to hold attention on a large wall, and it still reads clearly at a glance.
The print can be personalised with a title, a subtitle such as a date or family name, and a coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It comes as an instant HD digital file for $9 or as a printed poster, with a frame if you want one.
