Lake Nakuru shoreline
The shallow soda lake lies just south of town inside its national park. On the poster it is a large, quiet shape that balances the dense streets to the north.

Nakuru Map Poster & Print
Nakuru sits on the floor of the Great Rift Valley, and the map shows that setting at once. The town fills the land between two large natural features: Lake Nakuru and its protected park to the south, and the wide caldera of Menengai Crater to the north. Streets fill the gap between them, and denser blocks around the centre loosen into residential estates toward the edges.
The lake is the most famous part of the view. Lake Nakuru National Park is known for its flamingos, which have at times gathered along the shallow alkaline shoreline in very large numbers, and for its rhino sanctuary. The main highway and the railway both pass through town, which is one reason Nakuru grew into a major regional centre and was granted city status in 2021.
A Nakuru map poster sets the lakeshore against the street network. The lake takes up a broad calm space at the bottom of the frame, the park boundary encloses it, and the town's roads fan out above. Few cities of this size have both a national park and a volcanic crater so close to the centre, and the print shows both.

Menengai Crater
North of the centre, the rim of one of Africa's larger volcanic calderas curves around a broad hollow. At wider framings its outline shows through the contour of the roads.
Highway and railway
The main road through the Rift Valley and the railway line run through Nakuru. Together they form the long straight lines around which the town grew.

Neden Nakuru
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
For people from the Rift Valley, or visitors who remember the flamingos at the water's edge, this map ties a town to a landscape. The lake and the streets together tell the story more directly than a photograph can.
Add your own title, a subtitle with a name or date, and a coordinates line, then choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint and Sand both work well with the lake's large open shape.
