Nattappettai Map Poster & Print
Nattappettai sits just east of Kanchipuram in northern Tamil Nadu, close enough that on a map its streets merge with the outskirts of the temple city. The built-up area is modest and low, a mesh of lanes and house plots. It gives way quickly to rice fields, irrigation channels and the many tanks that store monsoon water across this part of the state.
Kanchipuram is one of the great temple cities of South India and a centre of silk weaving. The towns around it share its landscape: flat plains, the broad sandy course of the Palar river to the south, and roads that reach the city from every direction. Nattappettai belongs to that pattern rather than standing apart from it.
A Nattappettai map poster frames the town within this wider setting. The dense lanes at its centre, the main roads heading toward Kanchipuram and the water bodies scattered among the fields combine into a quiet, balanced composition. It records a very local place while hinting at the historic city next door.

Irrigation tanks
Tanks, the traditional reservoirs of Tamil Nadu, appear as smooth shapes among the fields, some large enough to become the strongest features in the frame.
Paddy field margins
At the edge of town, streets give way to a fine pattern of field boundaries and channels, a delicate texture that prints especially well at the larger sizes.
