Newport Beach Map Poster & Print
Newport Beach, in Orange County, has one of the most intricate coastlines in California. The Balboa Peninsula runs parallel to the shore for several miles and shelters Newport Harbor behind it. Inside the harbour sit several small islands, among them Balboa Island and Lido Isle. Each is covered in a fine grid of narrow streets and ringed by docks and seawalls.
North of the harbour, Upper Newport Bay opens into a broad estuary and nature reserve, where marsh and winding channels replace streets entirely. To the south, Corona del Mar sits on bluffs above the ocean. The Newport and Balboa piers reach out into the Pacific, and bodysurfers know the harbour entrance at the Wedge for its heavy shore break.
A Newport Beach map poster brings all of these layers together. It shows the thin peninsula, the jigsaw of islands, the curving edges of the estuary and the calmer suburban grid climbing inland. Few places pack so much contrast between water and streets into such a small area, which makes the map as much a piece of design as a record of a place.

Harbour islands
Balboa Island, Lido Isle and their smaller neighbours sit inside Newport Harbor. Each is a compact grid bounded by water, reached by bridge, and Balboa Island also by a small car ferry.
Upper Newport Bay
An estuary reaches inland from the harbour. Its winding channels and marshland leave a large, softly shaped open area among the surrounding neighbourhoods.

Neden Newport Beach
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Many people know Newport Beach from summers on the sand, a first home near the harbour or a boat kept on a mooring. The map holds those memories in a restrained way, and the complicated shoreline makes a striking image for coastal interiors without leaning on beach clichés.
Set a custom title, subtitle and coordinates line, then choose from five styles. Sand and Paper suit the coastal setting, while Noir makes the islands stand out sharply. Order a matte print with an optional wooden frame, or download the $9 HD files in six sizes.
