Rural road network
Long country roads cross the area in straight and gently curving lines. They mark the boundaries of farms and fields and give the print its main structure.

Pukekohe East Map Poster & Print
Pukekohe East is a rural area on the southern edge of the Auckland region, just east of Pukekohe town. It is mostly open land, not a dense settlement. On a map it appears as a network of country roads running between paddocks and fields, with scattered houses and small clusters of streets where the roads meet.
The ground here is part of the volcanic landscape of south Auckland, and its fertile soils are why the Pukekohe district is known across New Zealand for growing vegetables. From above, the fields form a patchwork of rectangles, bounded by roads and shelterbelts that run in long, straight lines over the gently rolling land.
A Pukekohe East map poster is quieter than a city plan. It is mostly open space, crossed by long rural roads, with the edge of Pukekohe's streets starting at one side of the frame. It suits anyone who knows the area as farmland, lifestyle blocks and back roads rather than a town centre.

Market-garden patchwork
The Pukekohe district is known for vegetable growing. The fields form a pattern of rectangles, which a minimal map shows as clean, open space.
Edge of Pukekohe
On the western side of the frame, the tighter streets of Pukekohe town start to appear. They mark a clear boundary between suburb and countryside.
