Raseborg Map Poster & Print
Raseborg, or Raasepori in Finnish, stretches along the southern coast of Finland in western Uusimaa. It was formed in 2009 from the towns of Ekenäs and Karis and the municipality of Pohja, and most residents speak Swedish as their first language. From above, it is a landscape of long bays, narrow peninsulas and islands, with lakes and forests inland.
Ekenäs, the largest town, sits on a peninsula with water on several sides. Its old wooden quarter keeps a compact pattern of narrow streets near the harbour. Offshore, the Ekenäs Archipelago National Park spreads into a scattering of islets, while inland the medieval ruins of Raseborg Castle stand on a rocky rise that once overlooked the sea.
A Raseborg map poster is dominated by the coastline. Inlets reach far inland, islands break up the open water, and the towns appear as small clusters of streets on firm ground. In black and white, the irregular shoreline becomes the main subject, drawn with the kind of detail that suits a large print.

Archipelago islands
Countless islands and skerries spread south of the mainland, giving the lower part of the poster a scattered, delicate pattern of small shapes.
Long sea inlets
Narrow bays reach deep into the land, so water and forest interlock across the map and the coastline becomes its strongest line.

Neden Raseborg
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Raseborg suits anyone who has spent summers on the Finnish coast, sailed its archipelago or grown up in Ekenäs or Karis. A map of bays and islands feels calm on the wall, much like the landscape itself.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a summer cottage location or a year. Pick from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Download the $9 HD files or order a matte print, with an optional wooden frame.
