Central square
The main streets meet around the town square and church. On the map this is the densest point, and it is the natural centre of the print.

Remígio Map Poster & Print
Remígio lies in the Brejo region of Paraíba, on the higher ground of the Borborema plateau. The town is compact, with a small core of streets around its main square and church. The roads run outwards across the gently hilly land. The higher altitude gives this area a milder, greener landscape than the dry interior, and this shows on the map as farmland and scattered woodland around the town.
The town is part of a cluster of small municipalities in the Brejo, a region traditionally associated with sugar cane, cachaça production and agriculture on its fertile slopes. Remígio serves as a local centre for the surrounding rural communities.
A Remígio map poster is quiet and restrained. The small urban core sits in the middle of the sheet, roads lead out into the countryside, and plenty of open space surrounds it all. It is a personal map rather than a showpiece, and it is all the better for that.

Plateau roads
Roads leave the town across the hilly plateau and follow the lie of the land. On the map they form gentle lines stretching towards the edges.
Green Brejo land
Farmland and patches of woodland surround the town. On the poster they become open space that gives the small settlement a clear outline.
