Saint Peters Map Poster & Print
Saint Peters is a village on the Isle of Thanet in east Kent, now part of Broadstairs and surrounded by the larger towns of Margate and Ramsgate. On a map, it sits a little inland from the coast. Its streets link the old village centre with newer housing, and they lead out toward the bays and chalk cliffs along the shore.
The historic core centres on the parish church of St Peter the Apostle, with a graveyard and a cluster of older streets around it. Beyond the core, suburban roads and closes fill in the gaps between Saint Peters and the neighbouring towns. Farmland still appears on the edges, especially toward the centre of Thanet.
A Saint Peters map poster shows a village that has kept its identity while the towns around it grew. The church and its surroundings sit at the middle, and residential streets fan outward toward the coast. In black and white, the nearby bays and cliff line add a clear edge to the map's eastern side.
