Several districts follow their own regular block patterns, set at slightly different angles. The map reads like a set of joined rectangles spread across the plateau.

Santo Antônio do Descoberto Map Poster & Print
Santo Antônio do Descoberto lies in the state of Goiás, just beyond the south-western border of the Federal District. It belongs to the ring of municipalities around Brasília, and much of its growth has come from people who work in or around the capital. From above, the town appears as a patchwork of rectangular blocks laid out across the open landscape of the central Brazilian plateau.
The land here is typical cerrado country: gently rolling ground, dry grassland and scrub, with strips of darker vegetation along the valleys. The Descoberto River, which gives the town part of its name, runs through the area. Upstream, a reservoir on the same river supplies much of the Federal District with water.
A Santo Antônio do Descoberto map poster shows a town still taking shape, where regular neighbourhood grids meet unpaved edges and open country. The Blueprint style suits the straight lines of its planned blocks. Sand echoes the warm, earthy tones of the surrounding cerrado in the long dry season.

Cerrado surroundings
Open grassland and scrub surround the town, giving the poster wide, calm margins that make the street pattern stand out clearly.
