Sárvár Map Poster & Print
Sárvár sits in Vas County in western Hungary, on the Rába river and on a flat stretch of the Little Hungarian Plain. The river and its side channels curve along the edge of town, and the older streets gather near a central crossing. Newer districts and green spaces fill the land around them.
The town's historic landmark is the Nádasdy Castle, a fortress with an unusual five-sided plan. For a time it was an important center of Hungarian culture, and one of the earliest books printed in Hungarian was produced here in the sixteenth century. On a map, the castle's geometric outline stands out clearly from the ordinary blocks around it.
Today Sárvár is known above all as a spa town, with thermal baths drawing visitors from across the region. A Sárvár map poster brings together the river, the castle and the spa, three elements that each give the town its identity.

Rába river
The river and its branches bend along the edge of town, giving the map soft, natural curves that contrast with the street grid.
Thermal baths
The spa complex and its parkland form a large, open area in the plan, reflecting the town's role as a destination for thermal bathing.
