Kola Bay shore
The long, deep bay forms the western edge of the town. Its jagged shoreline and coves are the most striking feature of the map.

Severomorsk Map Poster & Print
Severomorsk lies on the eastern shore of the Kola Bay, north of Murmansk, well above the Arctic Circle. The terrain dominates its map. The bay forms a long, deep inlet on one side, and the town climbs from the shore over rocky ground. Small lakes lie in the hollows, and the streets curve to fit between hills instead of following a regular grid.
The town is the main base of Russia's Northern Fleet, and its history is closely tied to the navy. It is a closed administrative territory, which means access for outsiders is restricted. For those who live there, it is a compact town with its own centre, embankment and memorials, facing the water.
A Severomorsk map poster shows a coastline of fjords and coves, a town fitted into rough terrain, and lakes scattered like punctuation through the streets. In black and white, the irregular shoreline and the curving roads create a strong, northern image. It is a meaningful piece for people who served or grew up here.

Lakes among streets
Small lakes sit in hollows between the neighbourhoods. On the poster they appear as clear, irregular shapes inside the urban fabric.
Contour-shaped roads
Streets bend around granite hills instead of forming a grid. Their curves give the town a distinctive, terrain-driven layout.
