Sunnyvale Map Poster & Print
Sunnyvale sits in the middle of Silicon Valley in Santa Clara County. On a map it reads as a sequence of horizontal bands. El Camino Real crosses the south. The Caltrain line and Central Expressway run through the middle. To the north, office campuses give way to the geometric salt ponds and sloughs of the San Francisco Bay shoreline.
Most of the city is a quiet grid of residential streets and cul-de-sacs, laid out on land that was once part of the valley's fruit orchards. The historic centre around Murphy Avenue is a short, straight street near the station. It is the city's oldest commercial block, and it is easy to find among the later suburban curves.
A Sunnyvale map poster also shows the large open space of Moffett Field and NASA Ames on the northwestern edge, including the long runways. Freeways frame the whole scene. The mix of old downtown, postwar suburb, tech campus and tidal edge tells the story of the valley in a single sheet.

Moffett Field
Long runways and the broad federal site to the northwest create one of the largest open shapes on the map. They sit clearly apart from the residential grid.
Bay salt ponds
At the northern edge, the street pattern ends at angular ponds and winding sloughs. This is where the valley meets the shallow southern arm of the bay.

Neden Sunnyvale
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Sunnyvale is a place many people move to for work and then stay, so its map often marks a career milestone or a first home in California. Put your street in the subtitle, choose a date for the title and set the coordinates line to match.
The regular blocks look sharp in Blueprint and soft in Paper or Sand. Classic black & white and Noir bring out the contrast between the dense suburbs and the open bay. You can download HD files for $9, or order a printed poster from a partner close to you.
