Vineyard hills
West of the centre, roads wind up through the Szekszárd Hills between small vineyard plots. Their curving lines give the edge of the map a soft, layered texture.

Szekszárd Map Poster & Print
Szekszárd is the seat of Tolna County in southern Hungary, set where a line of loess hills drops toward the wide floodplain of the Danube. On the map, that meeting of terrains is the main story. To the west, roads climb into the hills in curving lines between vineyards; to the east, the land flattens into fields, drainage channels and floodplain forest.
The town is best known for wine. The Szekszárd wine district produces mainly red wines, and its version of Bikavér is among the region's signatures. Vineyard plots cover the slopes on the edge of town, and their small, irregular parcels create a fine texture that contrasts with the compact historic centre and the straighter streets of later neighbourhoods.
A Szekszárd map poster shows a town caught between two landscapes. The old centre forms a dense cluster at the foot of the hills, while the outer frame shifts from winding vineyard roads to the flatter lines leading toward the Danube and the Gemenc forest in its floodplain. It is a map with a clear sense of slope, even in two dimensions.

Historic centre
The old town gathers at the base of the hills, a compact knot of streets and squares that forms the densest part of the composition.
Toward the Danube
To the east, the land flattens toward the Danube floodplain, where drainage lines and the edges of the Gemenc forest create a quieter, more open pattern.
