Plaza de España
The main square sits at the center of town, and many of the principal streets set out from it, giving the map a clear focal point and a gently radiating structure.

Tomelloso Map Poster & Print
Tomelloso lies in the province of Ciudad Real, in the heart of La Mancha, on one of the flattest landscapes in Spain. The town has no river or hill to shape it, so its streets spread outward from the central Plaza de España in long, straight lines, forming a loosely radial pattern that dissolves at the edges into vineyards and open fields.
Wine is central to the town's identity. Tomelloso is one of the largest grape-growing and wine-producing centers in the region, and beneath many older houses lie cuevas, underground cellars once used to make and store wine. In the surrounding countryside stand bombos, round dry-stone shelters built by farmers, which are characteristic of the local landscape.
The town is also the birthplace of the painter Antonio López García, known for his precise, patient studies of Madrid. A Tomelloso map poster captures the clarity that such a flat place offers: a dense center, straight avenues, and the orderly geometry of vineyards reaching toward the horizon on every side.

Straight avenues
With no terrain to bend around, Tomelloso's main streets run long and straight across the plain, producing a clean, almost diagrammatic plan.
Vineyards at the edge
Beyond the last blocks, the street network gives way to vineyards and farm tracks, a wide agricultural pattern that frames the town on all sides.
