Fu River bank
The river running past town gives the composition its main line. The older centre gathers along the water, and roads follow the curve of the bank.

Tongchuan Map Poster & Print
This Tongchuan is not the better-known industrial city in Shaanxi but a town in central Sichuan, the seat of Santai County in the Mianyang area. It lies in the rolling hill country of the Sichuan Basin, where terraced slopes, reservoirs and small valleys create a crowded, organic landscape. The town grows beside the Fu River, which flows south through the region.
The map shows a town shaped by water and slope rather than by a master plan. Older streets follow the riverbank and the contours of the land behind it, while newer districts with wider roads and larger blocks spread across flatter ground. Bridges connect the two banks, and toward the edges the pattern breaks up into winding lanes, farm plots and ponds.
A Tongchuan map poster from Sichuan makes a quiet, unexpected artwork. The river provides a bold curve, the dense older blocks add weight, and the scattered farmland adds fine detail toward the margins. For anyone from Santai it is a precise portrait of home, and for everyone else it is simply a well-composed river town.

Bridges and new districts
Road bridges link the two banks, and newer districts with broader streets and larger blocks extend the town onto more open ground.
Hill country edges
Beyond the built-up area, the hills of the Sichuan Basin break up into small fields, ponds and winding lanes, a detailed texture that frames the town.

Anlam taşıyan bir harita
People from Santai County, or anyone who has studied or worked in this part of Sichuan, often look for a map of their own town rather than the larger Shaanxi city with the same name. This map shows the Sichuan town.
Use the subtitle to name Santai or Sichuan, add a date to the title and adjust the coordinates line as you like. The five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand, range from crisp and graphic to warm and soft.
