Two salt lagoons
La Mata and Torrevieja lagoons form large, smooth expanses beside the town. On a monochrome map they read as calm open fields that contrast with the dense street pattern next to them.

Torrevieja Map Poster & Print
Torrevieja sits on the Costa Blanca in the south of Alicante province, and from above its most striking trait is what surrounds it. To the west and north lie two broad lagoons, La Mata and the larger Torrevieja lagoon, flat shapes that often dwarf the built-up area beside them. The town itself fills the strip of land between these waters and the sea.
The old centre follows a fairly regular grid running back from the port, with long parallel streets meeting the waterfront at right angles. Along the coast the line is broken by harbour breakwaters, marinas and small coves, while newer residential districts spread in looser, curving patterns toward the lagoons and along the shore to the north and south.
Salt shaped the place. The lagoons have been harvested for centuries, and the pink colour of the Torrevieja lagoon is well known. The town is also associated with the habanera, the sung form it celebrates each year at an international competition. A Torrevieja map poster turns this meeting of sea, salt flats and street grid into a clear graphic composition.

Harbour and marinas
Breakwaters and marina basins reach out from the centre into the Mediterranean, adding angular lines and sheltered water to an otherwise gently curving coastline.
Grid behind the port
The historic core is laid out in a regular grid of parallel streets, giving the centre an orderly, almost architectural look when drawn in thin black lines.

Neden Torrevieja
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
For many people Torrevieja means long seasons by the sea, a second home or a place they eventually moved to for good. A map of the town keeps the promenade, the port and the lagoons in view long after the suitcases are unpacked somewhere else.
You can add a title, a subtitle such as a year or a street name, and a coordinates line, then choose one of five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the coast here especially well, though each keeps the salt flats clearly legible.
