Laguna de Bay shore
The lake forms the eastern boundary, an open expanse of water that contrasts sharply with the tightly packed streets running down toward it.

Tunasan Map Poster & Print
Tunasan lies where the southern edge of Metro Manila runs into Laguna province and the Calabarzon region. On a map it is almost entirely built up: short streets, subdivision loops and cul-de-sacs fill the space between the main roads, and very little open ground remains. The pattern is typical of the metropolitan fringe, where planned estates and older, more informal lanes sit directly side by side.
To the east the streets stop at the shoreline of Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the Philippines, which appears on a poster as a broad blank field against the fine street texture. Inland, the grain of the neighbourhood follows the long roads that carry commuters between Manila and the growing towns of Laguna, so nearly every lane eventually feeds a north–south artery.
A Tunasan map poster is a portrait of a particular kind of place: the lived-in edge of a capital region, where a lakeshore, a few long roads and hundreds of small streets meet. Drawn in clean black lines, the pattern becomes surprisingly graphic, and for anyone who grew up or settled here it marks one precise point on a very large urban map.

Subdivision patterns
Planned residential estates show up as loops, crescents and dead-end streets, each with its own internal logic, stitched together by a handful of through roads.
Edge of the metro
The area sits where the continuous fabric of Metro Manila meets Laguna, so the map captures the point where one urban region hands over to the next.
