Venturosa Map Poster & Print
Venturosa is a municipality in the agreste of Pernambuco, the transitional zone between Brazil's humid coast and the dry sertão further inland. From above, the town is a compact grid of streets at the centre of a much larger rural area, with roads leading out across hilly, semi-arid land.
Life in the agreste has long revolved around farming and livestock, adapted to a climate with a long dry season. On the map, the town's blocks are tightly packed around its central square and church, while the countryside around it shows scattered farms, tracks and reservoirs that store water for the dry months.
A Venturosa map poster turns a quiet interior town into a clean graphic print. The orderly central blocks, the roads leading outward and the open land around them create a balanced, understated composition. It is meant for people who grew up here, those with family in the region, and anyone who knows this part of Pernambuco.

Roads outward
A few main roads lead away from the centre toward neighbouring municipalities, giving the composition a clear sense of direction across the countryside.
Agreste landscape
Around the town, the semi-arid hills of the agreste are dotted with farms and small reservoirs, leaving open space at the edges of the poster.
