River confluence
The Mertvovid joins the Southern Bug in the town. Two rivers meeting in the centre give the poster its natural focal point.

Voznesensk Map Poster & Print
Voznesensk lies in the Mykolaiv region of southern Ukraine, on the Southern Bug where the smaller Mertvovid river joins it. The confluence shapes the whole map. The town spreads along the banks, bridges link the districts, and the rivers draw broad curves through the grid of streets.
The town has long been a crossing point on the Southern Bug, and its layout reflects that role: roads converge on the bridges, and neighbourhoods are arranged on both sides of the water. In 2022 it became widely known when its defenders held the river crossings during the Russian advance toward Mykolaiv.
A Voznesensk map poster gives the rivers pride of place. Water sweeps through the frame, with the regular blocks of the town set around it and open steppe farmland beyond. It is a restrained, dignified way to honour a place that many Ukrainians now hold in particular regard.

Bridges and crossings
Bridges carry roads and rail over the water. They connect districts on opposite banks and pull the street network toward a few key points.
Steppe surroundings
Beyond the built-up area, the land opens into wide fields. The long, straight lines of rural roads frame the more irregular town in the middle.
