Waco Map Poster & Print
Waco lies in Central Texas on the Brazos River, roughly halfway between Dallas and Austin along Interstate 35. The river runs north-west to south-east through the city in broad bends, with downtown on its west bank and Baylor University spread along the water just downstream. The Bosque River joins the Brazos at Cameron Park, and Lake Waco lies farther west.
Its landmarks include the Waco Suspension Bridge, completed in 1870 as a crossing for cattle drives on the Chisholm Trail and once among the longest suspension bridges in the country. Dr Pepper was first served at a Waco drugstore in the 1880s, and in recent years Magnolia Market, set around restored silos, has drawn visitors from across the United States.
A Waco map poster centres on the Brazos. Its curves bend around downtown and the Baylor campus, bridges stitch the banks together, and the green expanse of Cameron Park follows the river's bluffs to the north-west. The surrounding grid and the straight line of the interstate give the composition a firm structure around the river.

Baylor campus
The university's grounds sit along the river south-east of downtown, a large block of quads and paths that breaks the regular street grid.
Cameron Park
One of the largest city parks in Texas, it follows the river and its limestone bluffs, drawn as curving trails and roads along the water.

Neden Waco
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Waco means different things to different people: Baylor years, a weekend at the silos, a hometown on the Brazos. The river's shape gives each of those memories a clear and recognisable frame on the wall.
