Wegeda Map Poster & Print
Wegeda lies in the Amhara Region of northern Ethiopia, on the high plateau that holds much of the country's farmland. The town serves as a local centre for the rural communities around it, and its layout reflects that role. Shops and services line the main routes at its core, and houses and compounds spread out from there into the surrounding landscape.
From above, Wegeda has an informal, gently irregular form. Roads curve with the terrain, paths slip between plots, and the line between town and farmland is soft rather than sharp. A Wegeda map poster makes this character legible, drawing the town as a delicate cluster of lines against broad areas of open highland ground.
The Amhara highlands are a landscape of high elevations, deep valleys and fields worked over many generations, and even a small section of the map hints at that setting. Streams and tracks pass along the town's edges. Wider frames show how settlements are spaced across the plateau, each linked to the next by a thin network of roads.

Informal edges
At the outskirts, the street pattern loosens into scattered paths and plots, creating a soft, feathered border between town and field.
Highland tracks
Thin roads and footpaths leave the town across the plateau, linking it to nearby villages and drawing long, delicate lines through open space.
