Back River
A tidal river runs north through the middle of town toward Hingham Bay. It divides the map into two halves and is the most distinctive line on the poster.

Weymouth Map Poster & Print
Weymouth lies on Massachusetts's South Shore, south of Boston, and its map is largely shaped by water. The Weymouth Fore River marks one side and the Back River cuts through the middle, dividing the town into distinct sections. The shoreline is irregular: it curves into coves, narrows into necks and opens toward the islands of Boston Harbor.
The European settlement here began in 1622 as Wessagusset, which makes it one of the oldest in Massachusetts. Weymouth is also the birthplace of Abigail Adams. The street pattern reflects that long history. Old roads follow the rivers and ridges, while mid-century suburban streets fill the land between them in loops and cul-de-sacs rather than a strict grid.
A Weymouth map poster shows how river, harbour and neighbourhood fit together. The Back River runs through the centre as a clear pale ribbon, bordered by the green line of the Great Esker Park. On the coast, the necks and peninsulas look almost like fingers pointing north. The inland areas become a dense, fine texture of streets, and the map gives a clear sense of where the land ends and the tidal water begins.

Great Esker Park
Along the Back River, the park follows a long glacial ridge known as an esker. It appears as a narrow, winding strip of open space between the water and the streets.
Harbor edge
To the north, peninsulas and coves reach into Boston Harbor. The broken shoreline gives the top of the map an intricate outline.

Neden Weymouth
Anlam taşıyan bir harita
Weymouth is often a place people put down roots: a first house, a childhood street near the water, or a family that has lived on the South Shore for generations. A map of the rivers and necks captures that sense of home in a simple, calm way.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a neighbourhood or a moving-in date, and pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Order the digital files or have it printed and shipped.
