Yurécuaro Map Poster & Print
Yurécuaro lies in the northwest of Michoacán, close to the border with Jalisco, in the fertile farming country of the Lerma basin. From above, the town follows the orderly grid typical of Mexican towns, with straight streets and square blocks around a central plaza, and newer neighbourhoods extending the pattern outward.
A railway line and the main roads towards the neighbouring towns cross the area, and beyond the built-up edge the map opens into cultivated fields divided by straight farm roads and irrigation channels. The land is low and level, so the grid can be followed without interruption until it meets open countryside.
A Yurécuaro map poster brings out that clarity: the regular blocks of the centre, the plaza, the railway and the farmland that surrounds it all. It makes a warm and personal gift for families from the town, including the many who now live in other parts of Mexico or in the United States.

The railway
A railway line crosses the area, a long firm stroke that cuts across the grid and connects the town with the wider region.
Irrigated farmland
Beyond the built edge, level fields are divided by straight roads and channels, forming a large, calm pattern around the town.
