Arsin lies on the Black Sea coast in Trabzon Province, a short distance east of the city of Trabzon. Like many towns on this coast, it occupies a narrow strip of level land between the sea and mountains that rise almost immediately behind it. On the map the built-up area is long and thin, following the shoreline.
The coastal highway is the dominant line on the print, running parallel to the sea along the whole length of the town.
