Cherpulassery is a town in the Palakkad district of Kerala, in the area historically known as Valluvanad. It is not a gridded town. Its roads follow the uneven midland terrain, meeting at junctions and trailing off into lanes lined with houses, each set in its own garden or small plot of trees.
The town is known in Kerala for its temple culture, including festivals that bring music, ritual and processions to the streets.
